...only a stone’s throw from our Hummingbird Centre, Cristian spends the last few hours of his Saturday afternoon peacefully fishing in the neighbouring lake. But it's been a really tough week! Can you imagine that only five minutes from here they are still killing our kids!

Such a beautiful picture, conveying such wonderful, peaceful moment. I just read the story about Diego, and it was so incredibly sad, and his death such a tragic loss. I know from what you say, and from what I have heard that he is only one of many who suffer this terrible fate. Thank you for your efforts in trying to help these kids, and for giving them a chance to have some time, even if short lived, of feeling some happiness, joy and peace in their lives, where they might be able to feel what it is like to be a kid, for a few moments, without the terrible violence surrounding them. The problem is huge, and sadly, no way to protect them totally.
