Taken outside our house on a foggy sunday morning in Dublin Port.
The boat was formerly known as 'Inis Arcain' (D274). It was built 1959 at the BIM Boatyard, Baltimore, Co. Cork

The contrast between the detailed fishing boat in the foreground and the fogged lighthouse in the back works very well.
The sea flat as a tablecloth, the fog softly covering everything further than a 20 meters...the rhythm of life ground to a stop. You can almost hear the silence!

Seen in your Around Dublin Bay set.(?)
These kind of shots always make me feel sea sick. Especially with old boats in them...but I love this. I love the feeling of the photo and the composition. Beautiful black and white, well done :)
This is such a wonderfully atmospheric shot. The choice of black and white for this type of shot is a perfect one. The composition is spot on with the boat on the golden mean and sailing into the shot. The ghostly outlines in the background are what make this shot so atmospheric. Great shot.
