Once you start taking pictures early morning , it's difficult to go back to the “old way”. Although we had quite nice weather lately , the air and sky were not that great. Early morning light gives the crispness. There is always drawback … 3:30am wake up and walking backwards for the rest of the day. We started shooting just after 5am and we were done bit after 7:30am.
This is a vessel that really stood out from the rest in the fishing port of Steveston southwestern shore of Richmond BC , once principal port of the Fraser River. At the turn of the last century Steveston was busiest fishing port in the world with over dozen canneries. Now just a quiet village.
Just to let you know , on the horizon - this is not a sunrise , actual sunrise is behind me to my left.
