Description:
The fisherman on the jetty was more interested in catching Stripers than rubbernecking a visiting ship. ( Large ) I had to research this schooner, having never seen her before. She's a reproduction of a classic pilot schooner and has only been afloat for a year. She serves as a training vessel, is based out of Charleston SC, and has very handsome lines -- a good ambassador for her state.

I was on board while she was on the hard in Charleston. She was almost complete then. It is great to see her under full sail. K

Beautiful composition! I saw her when she was being built. I'd love to see her now that she's been launched. The larger view on black wasn't available

Nice photo. I got some photos of her when she was being towed to her launching. Incidently, she has been disabled in August by a nearby lightning strike that fried all of her electronics. Over $100,000 to repair.
