Description:
I love the sense that they are heading into the unknown. Cropped and contrast adjusted using Photoshop but no other processing. Yes, it was that blue. View it large. If you like this photo you should also like this photo too.

the desolation of the defender's picture is amazing. 0of100#4 into the pool of Highly Competitive - Flickr's 100 Best

This might win for originality, but not in any other regard. noneof100#3

I like the serenity of the icy cool lake as well, the reflections in the water and such. You have a nice photo though... noneof100#_2_

I prefer the absolute calm of College Fjord. Something about it draws me to it. It's not that this is a bad shot, because I do like it but the defender gets my vote. noneof100#1

Very nice! That water blending almost seamlessly into the sky is amazing, and definitely gives it a sense that they are embarking into the unknown. I have no suggestions for improvement! Gorgeous capture. From the MiRea's Realm Group, you are given a 6.5/7 ranking.

@Zenith - I haven't deleted any comments so don't know what happened either. Yes, I have two similar photos, but they are different boats. One is more side on and the reflections are, as you noted, better. This one has better color I think more of a sense of movement towards the blue.

From the MiRea's Realm Group, you are given a _6.5/7 ranking. i thought i did comment on this photo but i couldnt find my previous critique... im wondering why? i still remember vividly that the other shot is a bit darker, the reflection is better... which i prefer! ;) am i right???

Great capture, love the fog and the color of the water/sky. The reflection makes it more interesting. From the MiRea's Realm Group, you are given a 6/7 ranking.

Has a desolate feel to it, a trip to the unknown. I think it would be stronger if the man in red were positioned differently or not visible. From the MiRea's Realm Group, you are given a 6/7 ranking.

Unbelieveable shot! The ripples in the water and the mergering of water & sky makes this photo a winner! Perfectly cropped! I can't say enough! (View: 50 Pool)
