The World's Best Fishing Hat starts with authentic toquilla-straw, and is hand woven in Cuenca, Ecuador. This is the home of some of the very best Panama Hat Brands such as Montecristi, Cuenca, and Ultrafino. Once woven, the process of washing, drying and softening the fibers is started in Ecuador as is the shaping and softened. Then the hand-made shell is shipped to our finishers in the USA where the hat is Finished with all of the Features we think makes this the World's Best Fishing Hat! Our hat Features Solar Weave sun protection, a Teflon fabric coating, a Cool Max Hat Band, Strawblock SPF98-UPF50 Sun Protection, an "Uncrushable" Insert, and two eylets for a neck strap (not included). Finally, we needed to make sure we offered this hat at a price that was fair to everyone. Typically this hat would retail for about $125 - $150 or more. We decided that this hat should be as affordable as possible to as many of our customers as possible. We believe this price represents our dedication to that goal.
